This week, consider luck. This is a great set of prompts to take to a café, park, or bar and enjoy the practice—and your own company.
Get out your journal and go after these questions for as long as feels fun:
Do I believe in luck? What do I believe about luck?
How do I define and describe luck? Is luck a force, chance, coincidence, cultivated, manipulation, grasping, God, opportunity, political rhetoric, fact?
When I think about people I know and my loved ones, what does luck mean in their lives, what’s happened to them, or how they make sense of things?
What do I feel about luck in the time I’m living in?
Then, write about a time you felt one of these things:
My luck is running out!
Luck is on my side!
I’m SOL!
I can’t rely on luck!
I can only rely on luck!
Have fun, learn something!
